I walked into the school to be welcomed with hugs, cards, flowers and chocolates. The Student Council along with a few students from Grade 4 and 5 put up a fantastic show for the teachers this morning. We were given a certificate of appreciation each and we felt like celebrities when we walked up to the stage to collect it amidst loud cheering and clapping from the students. The students danced and sang for us and made the morning really special. They brought in an element of humour by mimicking a few teachers which made us realize, once again, how observant the students are. They also made a huge card for us and every child in the Primary School signed on it. The happy faces and heart felt gestures of the students made my day.
