PRIOR KNOWLEDGE - ARTICLES
To
assess the students' prior knowledge on Articles, a paragraph was given to them
with articles wrongly placed or completely removed from certain parts. The
students had to brainstorm in groups what was wrong with the paragraph and
correct the paragraph too.
By
the end of the lesson, the students were able to come up with the word
'Articles', the three articles as well as their usage. I then introduced them
to the definite and indefinite articles.
The
class was fun and the students also used their understanding of Common and
Proper Nouns and Punctuation to correct the passage with logical reasoning!
